Allarta’s hydrogels are shape-agnostic, high surface area constructs that offer durable immune-privileged encapsulation of therapeutic cells.
For our lead indication, type 1 diabetes (T1D), Allarta’s hydrogels demonstrate rapid and sustained blood glucose control using donor islet xenografts without immunosuppression in preclinical studies.
Allarta has also developed scalable cryoprotective solutions that prevent cell aggregation and ice crystal formation, enabling safe cell transportation and storage.
